- Welcome to GISSV
  The German International School of Silicon Valley is an independent, nonprofit preschool–grade 12 school with two locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Admissions
- Meeting Students’ Needs From Preschool Through High School
  GISSV welcomes students of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We serve students from two to eighteen years old.
- Enrollment
  The enrollment period begins during the months of January and February of each year for the upcoming school year. We also accept new students throughout the school year based on availability. Knowledge of the German language is required for all children who enroll after 1st grade (See also our German Fast Track Program).

German Immersion Summer Camps

Open to Everyone Interested in Learning German!

During the summer season, we proudly host a variety of engaging week-long camps at our campuses situated in the vibrant locales of Mountain View and San Francisco.

These enriching experiences are available for enrollment to both GISSV families and community members, encompassing ages 3 to 14, and we also provide a specialized CIT program tailored for high school students.

Our summer camps for elementary and middle school students feature invigorating language classes in the mornings, followed by an array of exciting activities in the afternoons. Parents have the flexibility to select the language level that best suits their child or children—whether they are beginners, intermediates, or at an advanced proficiency level. For our youngest learners in the Preschool and Kindergarten levels, we curate unique themes each week to make their experience both delightful and educational.
